I am starting my journey as a druid as of May 2010. This is a completely new way of life for me, but I am finding it a good fit if not necessarily an easy one. This week, before even receiving my first gwersi, I made a major change in my life. You see, I am a rather materialistic person. I have far more than I need. So today, I took the first step in this by putting every magazine I own into the recycling. I do not intend to be completely bare, but I want to be less cluttered in my house and in my mind. I am sure the recycling bin emptier will absolutely despise me for the heaviness of that bin, but it felt so good to have them gone. Magazines are a source of temptation for me, and a waste of money. They make one want things for the simple reason that they are there. So, I felt that being rid of temptation was a good step. More on this as I continue.
